Ole Miss right guard Patrick Kutas is this year’s Kent Hull Trophy winner, being recognized as the top college offensive lineman in Mississippi.
The announcement was made Tuesday by the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and the Kent Hull Foundation. Kutas, a junior who transferred to Ole Miss from Arkansas before the 2025-26 campaign, is recognized for his excellence, leadership, and impact in the trenches.
Kutas is the 13th player to receive the honor and was selected by a panel of NFL scouts who cover colleges throughout Mississippi. The offensive lineman has started all 11 games at right guard for the Rebels this year. He has helped anchor a line that has propelled No. 6 Ole Miss (10-1, 6-1 SEC) to the nation’s No. 3 total offense, No. 5 passing offense, and No. 13 scoring offense.
He has blocked for Doak Walker Award finalist Kewan Lacy and Maxwell Award semifinalist Trinidad Chambliss and has logged 804 snaps on the season, only yielding one sack and two quarterback hits throughout the season.
Kutas will be honored during the Conerly Trophy presentation on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. The Kent Hull Trophy is named after the legendary center who played for Mississippi State and the Buffalo Bills.
