Legendary rock band ZZ Top is heading back to the Magnolia State.

After most recently playing in Mississippi in March of last year, the iconic band is set to take the main stage in the Batesville Civic Center as part of its 2026 tour. The band will perform on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. CT, bringing their Texas blues-rock sound with them. Longtime touring act Drivin N Cryin will serve as the show’s opener.

Known for more than five decades of iconic riffs, road-tested hits, and their signature Southern swagger, ZZ Top remains one of the most enduring names in rock with songs like “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Tush.” Formed in Houston in 1969, the group helped shape the modern blues-rock genre and continues to draw multigenerational audiences with its distinctive sound and live performances.

Drivin N Cryin, formed in 1985, will open the night with a set that blends roots, rock, and Americana influences. The band is known for hits like “Fly Me Courageous,” “Honeysuckle Blue,” and “Straight to Hell,” and continues to build on its legacy with steady touring and new releases.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. CT through Batesville Civic Center, Ardenland, and ZZ Top’s websites.
