FanDuel, the most popular sports betting platform in the United States, is donating $25,000 donation to Mississippi Food Network as part of its nationwide holiday giving initiative.
The donation is aimed at supporting food security in communities where the company operates. FanDuel is a major online sportsbook and gaming company, offering sports wagering and daily fantasy sports to millions of users nationwide.
Mississippi Food Network is the state’s largest food bank, serving a network of more than 430 food pantries, shelters, and community organizations. Its mission is to end hunger in Mississippi by providing food to families in need and supporting programs that address food insecurities nationwide.
According to the Mississippi Food Network officials, the $25,000 contribution is expected to help provide more than $150,000 meals to Mississippians facing hunger during the holiday season.
