Country music superstar Jason Aldean has set an entertainment record in the birthplace of Elvis Presley.
Officials with Cadence Bank Arena announced that Aldean’s Jan. 16 sold-out performance is the highest-grossing show in the city of Tupelo’s history, surpassing the previous record held by James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt in 2017. Per a release, the sold-out show drew fans from across Mississippi and neighboring states, marking what local event planners are calling a significant achievement for the region’s live entertainment industry.
“We are thrilled that Jason Aldean’s Full Throttle Tour stop at Cadence Bank Arena on January 16, 2026, has shattered our venue’s record for highest gross ticket sales! The overwhelming demand from fans across Mississippi and beyond led to a complete sell-out, generating unprecedented revenue and setting a new benchmark for live entertainment in Tupelo,” Cadence Bank Arena Executive Director Kevan Kirkpatrick said.
“Jason Aldean and his incredible team delivered an unforgettable night of high-energy performances, and this historic achievement is a testament to the passionate support of our community. We couldn’t be prouder to host such a monumental event and look forward to many more record-breaking moments ahead!”
