The Ole Miss women’s basketball team will continue playing one state over after Friday’s matchup against Vanderbilt.
Officials announced Thursday that Yolett McPhee-McCuin’s No. 18 Lady Rebels (17-4, 4-2 SEC) will take on Auburn at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala., on Monday at 6 p.m. CT. Friday’s game versus the Commodores will take place at 2 p.m. CT.
The games were moved as a result of the toll Winter Storm Fern has taken on the Oxford community, where safe road transportation is not a guarantee at this time. Admission to the neutral-site showdowns is free of charge.

Ole Miss recently postponed this past Monday’s home game against Tennessee, and the contest will occur at a date yet to be set. On the men’s side, Chris Beard’s Rebels (11-9, 3-4 SEC) swapped home games with No. 18 Vanderbilt. Instead of playing in the SJB Pavilion on Saturday, Ole Miss will face the Commodores in Nashville that same day, with a 5 p.m. CT tipoff.
