For the second day in a row, a Madison elementary school has been the subject of a threat.

Madison Station Elementary School informed parents Thursday morning that it is “currently unable to receive students this morning” as law enforcement is on campus assessing the situation.

It’s unclear what kind of threat was received on Thursday morning. The Madison County School District has not released an official statement.

On Wednesday morning, the elementary school was forced to evacuate students and staff to a nearby church after a bomb threat was called in. By Wednesday afternoon, the Madison Police Department had issued an all clear after they determined “there was no credible threat” at the time. The school was closed for the rest of the day.

This is a developing story that will be updated as more information becomes available.
