An arrest has been made after a private school in Jackson received a telephone threat claiming “there would be a massacre shooting.”
The Jackson Police Department announced Thursday morning that Abbey Nicole Taylor, 38, was taken into custody following the threat made to Hillcrest Christian School on Wednesday.
“Based on the originating phone records, the circumstances of the call, and statements obtained during the investigation, probable cause existed to charge 38-year-old Abbey Nicole Taylor with Terroristic Threats,” a statement from JPD reads.

Taylor appeared in court Thursday morning, where a municipal judge set her bond at $75,000.
No shooting occurred following the threat. Authorities have not released any information on the motive behind the call.
