The Madison Police Department on Wednesday released the name of a man found dead last week in a Home Depot parking lot.
According to MPD Lt. Micah Taylor, the deceased was identified as Bradley Michael Baker, 55, of Madison. The cause of death remains under investigation pending toxicology results.
“At this time, there is no reason to believe that there is any foul play involved,” Taylor said.
MPD previously announced on Friday, Feb. 27, that a man had been found deceased inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the Home Depot at Colony Crossing. The body was discovered in a truck backed into a parking space near the store around 11:35 a.m.
MPD has been working with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Madison County Coroner’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Office on the case.
