Domino’s employee arrested for workplace shooting in Greenville

A Domino’s employee is behind bars in Greenville after allegedly shooting and injuring a coworker.

Investigators with the Greenville Police Department said gunfire erupted inside the pizza place on Highway 1 South on Tuesday. GPD announced Thursday that 29-year-old Ashley McCray had turned herself in connection with the shooting.

McCray allegedly got into an altercation with another employee and pulled a handgun, shooting the victim once in the thigh. The suspect then fled the store in a black sedan.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Delta Health System to be treated and has since been released.

McCray was charged with one count of aggravated assault and is being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility on a $40,000 bond.
