Mississippi yacht rockers are in for a big treat this year with legendary band The Doobie Brothers set to make two stops at local venues.

The Grammy Award-winning, platinum-selling legends – inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame – will take the stage at the Brandon Amphitheater and the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi this October.

The Brandon show is set for Wednesday, Oct. 14, with the Gulf Coast performance following two days later.

The touring announcement aligns with the 50th anniversary of the band’s milestone album “Takin’ It To The Streets,” released in 1976 on Warner Bros. Records. Marking the group’s sixth studio album, it was the first Doobie Brothers album to feature popular singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Michael McDonald on lead vocals and keys.

Along with the aforementioned song and album, fans can expect to hear other well-known hits from the group, including “Listen To The Music,” “China Grove,” and “What A Fool Believes.”

Tickets will first be available during a Citi presale, limited to Citibank cardmembers, beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m., followed by an artist presale on Wednesday at the same time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale, which begins on Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase here.
