SuperTalk Mississippi Media’s Eagle Hour radio show and podcast is turning 10 years old!

The program, dedicated to Southern Miss athletics, first launched in April 2016 and has since grown into a go-to source for Golden Eagles fans across the Pine Belt and beyond. Currently hosted by Bob Ghetti, Kelly Sanner, and Dima Mixon, Eagle Hour airs daily from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on SuperTalk Hattiesburg, Laurel, and Pike County.

Over the past decade, the program has featured countless interviews with Southern Miss administrators, coaches, players, and insiders, helping bring fans closer to the teams they follow.

“I’ve been really fortunate to have some great guys help me with the show from the start,” said Ghetti, who helped launch Eagle Hour. “The show’s been really embraced by the people here in south Mississippi, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank (STMM founder and chairman) Steve Davenport for making this all possible 10 years ago.”

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, Friday’s edition of Eagle Hour will expand into a special two-hour broadcast from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The extended show will feature interviews with past hosts, Southern Miss coaches, and other familiar voices who have been part of the program over the years.

“We’ve been really blessed, and we enjoy every day we’re on air,” Ghetti added. “The show has been a success because of the hosts and listeners, and the great relationship we have with the university and the coaches and players that have been on the show through the years. Our plan is to continue to do it as long as people want to keep listening.”

Listeners who can’t tune in on their local radio station can still catch Eagle Hour anytime through the SuperTalk Mississippi app or on all major podcast platforms.
