The SEC has announced the location, dates, and general schedule for its football media extravaganza – and no, Pete Golding and Lane Kiffin are not set to take the main stage on the same day.

Officials announced that the four-day preview of the 2026-27 campaign will take place in Tampa, Fla., for the first time ever and will run July 20-23. The Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott will serve as the host sites.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State fans will have to wait until the later days to hear from their teams’ respective frontmen. Golding is set to make his first on-stage appearance on July 22 as the Rebels try to make it back to the College Football Playoff for a second consecutive season. Bulldogs head coach Jeff Lebby is set to take the podium on July 23 to discuss his vision for year three in Starkville and field questions from reporters.

Though the league apparently decided to stave off any tension that having Kiffin and Golding on the same day may create, Lebby – a former Ole Miss offensive coordinator under Kiffin – will follow his old boss at the podium. Kiffin left Ole Miss right before the start of the College Football Playoff to accept the head coaching position at LSU.
