A third arrest has been made in connection with a double-homicide involving a pair of Jackson teenagers.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones reports that Milisen Martinez, 21, is charged with accessory after the fact of murder in connection with the shooting deaths of Terry Burrell Jr. and Khloe Hudson. Both victims attended Lanier Junior Senior High School and were 16 at the time of their death.
The teens were discovered deceased by sanitation workers along South Springdale Road in Pocahontas on March 30. Martinez joins Bruce White, 18, and Ezra White, 19 in being handcuffed in this case.
Bruce White and Ezra White, who are not related to one another, are being held in the Hinds County Detention Center. Jones believes the two men knew the teenage victims prior to allegedly killing them, though he did not weigh in on a possible motive. Martinez’s alleged role in the incident has not been articulated.
The sheriff believes there is sufficient evidence to charge both men with capital murder and is asking the public to report any additional information to his office to help strengthen the prosecutions’ efforts. Capitol Police and the Jackson Police Department have assisted in the investigation into this case.
