Meridian-based Golden Angels Home Care Agency is offering free services to those who served in the military.
The organization has partnered with the federal Office of Veterans Affairs to assist elderly and disabled service men and women without charging them for care.
Through their VA benefits, veterans can receive multiple free services through Golden Angels Home Care, including bathing and hygiene assistance, housekeeping, care from certified nursing assistants, and feeding support, along with other professional aid.
To qualify, veterans must have served at least 90 days active duty with at least one day during a wartime period. Officials with the home care provider said that offering these services is their way of giving back to those who sacrificed for the nation.
Golden Angels Home Care operates in the following Mississippi counties: Clarke, Jasper, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Neshoba, Newton, and Smith. Veterans looking for assistance can do so by clicking here.
