A man is accused of shooting his mother before turning the gun on himself in Clay County.
Sheriff Eddie Scott said the incident occurred Monday around 7 a.m. along East Hazelwood Rd.
The sheriff said a 33-year-old man shot his 53-year-old mother before opening fire on himself. Neither individual was identified by authorities.
Both were airlifted to medical care. Authorities did not release their conditions.
