Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Belzoni that claimed the life of a 17-year-old.
The Belzoni Police Department announced in a news release that Marcus Hughes, Marquaverious Hughes, and Marquavious Jones have been arrested in the death of Christian Warren.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Jodie Thurman Street at approximately 9 p.m. on June 17. When they arrived, they found Warren dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police have not announced what charges the suspects face.
The Belzoni Police Department said the investigation remains active and that additional arrests are possible. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the department at (662) 247-2551.
