All eyes will be on Oxford ahead of the highly anticipated Ole Miss-LSU football weekend in September, and one of the hottest rising stars in music has taken notice. Country music sensation Ella Langley plans to make it that much more interesting with a concert in Oxford leading into the big game.

Ole Miss Athletics teased an image of a postcard containing lyrics to Langley’s song “Bottom of your Boots” from her latest album across their social media platforms on Saturday. The postcard was also signed “EL,” further implying that Langley will take the stage in Oxford.

On Monday morning, Ole Miss Athletics officially announced Langley’s concert for Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Sandy and John Black Pavilion, two days before the Rebels’ revenge game against Lane Kiffin and LSU.

Langley has taken the world by storm in recent years, drawing fans from all over the world, including famous German soccer fan “Freddy,” who has been in the American spotlight for sharing his first experiences in the United States during the World Cup.

Despite being a relatively new artist, with her debut album “hungover” released in 2024, Langley has become a huge hit for country music fans. Her popularity has only continued to climb with her growing publicity and the release of her award-winning 2025 single “Choosin’ Texas,” which won the Academy of Country Music’s Song and Single of the Year last month.

Langley’s performance in Oxford won’t be her first in the Magnolia State – she’s already had six in Mississippi. Her most recent showing was in Starkville at Rick’s Cafe on Halloween of 2025 as a part of her “still hungover tour,” which showcased the deluxe version of her debut album. Tickets went on sale for nearly $100 and the concert was sold out in less than 24 hours.

Tickets for her “Dandelion” album tour in concert can be found here.
