Law enforcement officials are investigating after a dead body was found in the parking lot of a Gulfport casino.
The unidentified individual was spotted in a vehicle in the lot of the Beach View Casino Resort along U.S. 90 on Tuesday afternoon, first reported by WLOX. Officials with both the Gulfport Police Department and Harrison County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.
Authorities did not identify the deceased, but did note that no foul play is suspected in this case and that the individual could have passed from natural causes. No further details have been made available at this time.
