Thalia Mara Hall announced Wednesday its first Broadway series since 2024.

Jackson’s concert hall will host six different shows as part of the 2026-2027 Broadway in Jackson Season. The announcement comes after a hiatus dating back to Thalia Mara closing down in August 2024 due to microbial issues in the building’s HVAC systems. Thalia Mara’s mold problem stemmed from a faulty heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system, as well as roof leaks, which caused the carpets and curtains to mold.

After an 18-month renovation period, Thalia Mara Hall reopened in January 2026 and has since made a strong comeback, hosting a variety of concerts and events.

The new Broadway series will host a wide variety of shows, beginning with “Jersey Boys” on Sept. 30. Following the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, the New Jersey Rock-and-Roll themed musical will start off Thalia Mara’s Broadway season with a bang.

Jump all the way to Dec. 18 for an evening of Christmas cheer with Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis. Davis, a Grammy Award winner, has created a unique Christmas show that features the one-of-a-kind sound of his music group, blending modern and classical elements.

Broadway shows in 2027

While not the typical association with Broadway, “The Price Is Right” will take the stage in Jackson in March. Mississippians will have a chance to make their dreams come true by participating in a live version of the beloved television show.

The next month, international percussion sensation STOMP will perform. The eight-member music troupe makes their distinct sound with just about everything – except conventional percussion instruments. Expect exotic beats from things like matchboxes, brooms, wooden poles, garbage cans, hubcaps, and Zippo lighters from STOMP.

To close out the 2026-2027 Broadway in Jackson Season is the headliner musical “Beetlejuice.” Inspired by Tim Burton’s film, this Broadway musical version blends humor, storytelling, and music to bring an unforgettable experience to Mississippians who love the man in stripes.
