The last time Ole Miss and Alabama battled on the hardwood was in the SEC Tournament, and the Rebels bested their conference counterpart 80-79 in pursuit of an automatic bid into March Madness. Ole Miss ultimately fell in the conference tournament semifinals, ending any hopes of a postseason run.
Ole Miss enters year four of Beard’s tenure with a completely new look, with just a trio of notable returners from last year’s team on the roster — guards Ilias Kamardine, Patton Pinkins, and Zach Day.
Beard, in the offseason, worked to revamp the roster. Ole Miss notably added Budd Clark (Seton Hall), Santiago Trouet (Arizona State), and Roman Siulepa (Pittsburgh) from the college ranks, while bringing in international guard Ben Henshall. Ole Miss is also looking to add Mojave King from New Zealand.
The Rebels will begin the 2026-27 regular season in November.
