Grammy Museum Mississippi and Atmos Energy have announced a partnership that will bring free field trips to students across the state.
The three-year, $50,000 commitment will expand educational access for students, with half of the money going to education scholarships for Mississippi students. As part of the scholarship, students will be able to visit the Grammy Museum Mississippi in Cleveland for the next three years and enjoy its activities for free.
The other $25,000 will go to the museum’s education endowment – an investment to eliminate the financial burden of accessing music education.
“We are deeply grateful to Atmos Energy for this incredible investment in the future of education at Grammy Museum Mississippi,” Grammy Museum Mississippi Executive Director Emily Havens said. “This partnership will directly impact students across our state by helping remove financial barriers to Museum visits while also strengthening our long-term ability to provide meaningful educational experiences for generations to come.”
The scholarship support is crucial for schools across Mississippi to help offset transportation and admission costs that each school would otherwise have to pay. Now, this partnership ensures that students in towns further away from Cleveland can engage with what the museum has to offer.

Every year, Grammy Museum Mississippi serves thousands of students through educational programs like workshops and museum experiences designed to inspire creativity, cultural understanding, and critical thinking through music.
The museum also explores the intersection of music, history, culture, and technology through hands-on learning opportunities that align with Mississippi’s educational standards. The programs encourage students to discover music’s impact on society and find their own love for the art.
