Ole Miss has an on-field logo sponsor for the 2026-27 football season.

Progressive and Ole Miss are finalizing a multi-year agreement where the insurance giant would be represented on the field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, multiple sources told SuperTalk Mississippi News. Progressive is reportedly partnering with multiple schools this season. Georgia and Ole Miss are the only two SEC programs that will have the company’s logo featured on their football playing surfaces.

The move comes as Ole Miss officials work to establish the university as a national brand in the name, image, and likeness and revenue-sharing era. With universities now being allowed to pay student-athletes with funds from the athletics budget, schools have quickly mobilized to land high-dollar deals with esteemed businesses.

The Rebels were among the most talked about teams in the most recent campaign after reaching the College Football Playoff and advancing to the semifinals, where a heartbreaking Fiesta Bowl loss to Miami upended a potential national title appearance.

Ole Miss was also the center of the college football universe throughout the season, with the spotlight specifically centering on Lane Kiffin’s then-impending decision about his future. Kiffin, who had multiple suitors, ultimately chose to jump ship to LSU a mere two days after the Egg Bowl.

Ole Miss Athletics Director Keith Carter promptly elevated defensive coordinator Pete Golding to head coach. Golding led the playoff charge and quickly went to work in the offseason to build his roster. With notable players like quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, running back Kewan Lacy, defensive tackle Will Echoles, and linebacker Suntarine Perkins returning, along with a bevy of highly-touted portal prospects being acquired, the Rebels are looking to rebuild on last year’s success.

As for the Progressive deal, Ole Miss Athletics did not respond to a request for comment regarding the specifics of the agreement. No stranger to the on-field logo scene, Ole Miss had Aflac as an on-field sponsor for the Nov. 15, 2025 game versus Florida.

Ole Miss will kick off the highly anticipated 206-27 season on Sept. 6. The Rebels will take on Louisville in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
