A federal investigation is underway following a helicopter crash in Natchez.
Local law enforcement responded to the parking lot of a former casino on D.A. Biglane on Sunday evening after a Robinson R44 overturned. The pilot, local obstetrician Dr. Frank Guedon, told The Natchez Democrat that the helicopter’s propeller snapped in the accident. Guedon was reportedly meeting a group of three family members and friends at the lot to take them on a ride.
No injuries were reported at the scene. The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into what caused the crash.
