Another famous country music star is taking the stage in the Magnolia State.
On Monday, it was announced that Riley Green will perform at the Brandon Amphitheater on June 3, 2027, as part of his “That’s Just Me Tour.” To promote his fourth studio album, the award-winning country artist chose Brandon as his only tour stop in the state.
The Alabama native developed his love for music through his grandfather, with whom he performed as a child. He continued to perform and hone his craft while also being an athlete and, eventually, a quarterback for Jacksonville State University.
From there, he focused on refining his skills as a songwriter and performer before releasing his first solo, “Outlaws Like Us,” in 2017.
The five-time ACM and four-time CMA Award-winning artist is best known for the hit songs “There Was This Girl,” which went double platinum with over two million streams, and “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” a triple platinum song with over three million streams.
Beyond music, Green has recently gotten into acting, debuting on CBS’ “Marshals” and was also named a coach for Seasons 30 and 31 of “The Voice.”
Green announced his next tour dates and locations while on the tail end of the “Cowboy As It Gets Tour” for his third album, “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Performing as opening acts for Green on the 2027 tour are Muscadine Bloodline, Jake Worthington, and Hannah McFarland. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. CT.
