Nine students are hospitalized following a crash involving a Jackson Public Schools bus.
Authorities report that the incident occurred on Forest Hill Road just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday when a vehicle collided with the school bus. 13 students were reportedly on board at the time of the accident.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and took nine of the pupils and the bus driver to a local hospital, officials added. Officials said the injuries all parties sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.
A separate Jackson Public Schools bus also made its way to the crash scene to take the uninjured students to their respective schools.
