In-person and mail-in absentee ballots are now available in circuit clerk’s offices across Mississippi for the upcoming Nov. 5 general election.

Residents can utilize the secretary of state’s website to view absentee ballots, get frequently asked questions answered, and see a step-by-step guide on how to vote absentee. If eligible, ballots will be provided upon request to a local circuit clerk. Contact information for circuit clerks’ offices can be found here.

For those who cannot visit their circuit clerk’s office Monday through Friday, Saturday in-person absentee voting dates are scheduled for Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon. The last day to vote in-person absentee is Nov. 2 while mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day.

Mississippians who are currently registered to vote or submit voter registration applications by Oct. 7 are entitled to cast a ballot in the general election. For questions, email electionanswers@sos.ms.gov or call 1-800-829-6786.
