It’s been 30 years since Friends first aired, and to celebrate the iconic TV show while incentivizing people to donate blood, the American Red Cross is teaming up with Warner Bros. to offer a one-of-a-kind souvenir to those who donate.

Beginning November 18 and lasting until December 8, the pop culture promotion will include two pairs of custom “FRIENDS + Red Cross socks” for anyone who visits a Red Cross location or a local drive to give blood or platelets.

“In the spirit of FRIENDSgiving, donors can give with meaning,” a portion of a news release reads, referencing Thanksgiving episodes where Rachel, Ross, Joey, Phoebe, Monica, and Chandler enjoyed the holiday together.

“Festive activities and busy calendars this time of year can disrupt normal routines, leading to a drop in blood donation appointments,” the release continued. “Eligible individuals are encouraged to make donating blood a priority, especially those with type O blood.”

For people who want to go ahead and give blood this week, until November 17, anyone who donates will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice. They will also be automatically entered for a chance to win one of two $7,000 gift cards.

Upcoming blood drives are scheduled in Jackson, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport, and Gautier. A full schedule of upcoming Red Cross drives can be found here. For those who cannot make a drive, appointments can always be made at Red Cross locations in Jackson, Gulfport, and Tupelo.
