The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Jackson will soon reflect the scene of a cinematic Christmas town.

On Dec. 11 and 12 from 5 to 8 p.m., the venue will host its annual “Homestead for the Holidays” event, featuring a lineup of family-friendly festivities.

Visitors will get the opportunity to write a letter to Santa on limited-edition postcards and browse the on-site general store for gifts and stocking stuffers such as old-fashioned glass-bottle drinks and Mississippi-made products. Hayrides, carousel rides, and train rides will be available, along with live music throughout the grounds.

Those in attendance can also enjoy breakfast for supper, story time with Mrs. Claus, and have pictures taken with Santa and Rudolph. The Fortenberry-Parkman Farmstead will offer various agricultural demonstrations, and visitors may stroll through Small Town, Mississippi, to experience Christmas during the early 1920s.

Admission is $10 per person for ages 3 and up.For more information, click here.
