Paw prints may soon line the walkways at Trustmark Park, with the Mississippi Mud Monsters announcing that their games will be pet-friendly during the 2026 season.

Mud Monsters officials are inviting all “well-behaved swamp creatures” to the ballpark, allowing fans to bring their dogs on any given game day. In the past, the team had designated dates for four-legged friends to join in the festivities, but this year, the invitation is extended to include all home matchups.

“No theme nights. No special passes. No waiting for the ‘right’ date. If your perfect night includes baseball, fresh air, and your best friend nearby, you’re already doing it right,” Mud Monsters Assistant General Manager David Kerr said. “Some will nap in the shade. Some will people-watch. Some will take their duties as official vibe-checkers very seriously. All are welcome.”

For those who do bring their furry companions, all pets must remain on a leash at all times and comply with local, state, and federal laws. Pets do not require a ticket or seat, as long as they remain on the ground near their owner’s seating area.

“We want Trustmark Park to feel like an extension of people’s lives,” Kerr added. “Baseball is better when it feels easy to say yes to. If bringing your pet along makes the night more relaxed, more fun, or more complete, then that’s exactly what we want this place to be.”

The Mud Monsters will begin the 2026 campaign on May 7. The club’s full schedule can be found here.
