Rising country music star Gavin Adcock will make a stop at one of Mississippi’s college campuses this fall.
The Ole Miss Athletics Department announced Monday that Adcock will be taking the main stage at the SJB Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 25. Corey Kent and The Creekers will open the performance.
Adcock, commonly known as a “bad boy” of country music for his rebellious persona, is best known for songs “Run Your Mouth” and “A Cigarette.” While his Oxford show will be taking place during football season, it will occur the weekend of a road game. Pete Golding’s Ole Miss team will battle Florida in the Swamp on the Saturday following the country concert.
Before Adcock comes to Oxford, another country star will make an appearance at the SJB Pavilion. “Burn It Down” singer Parker McCollum will perform in the basketball arena on April 9. Tickets for Adcock’s concert will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. CT
